As part of its ongoing Community Outreach Programme, the Embassy of Rwanda in Poland travelled to Gdańsk to meet with members of the Rwandan diaspora, continuing its series of engagements with Rwandan communities across the country.
The gathering brought together Rwandans based in Gdańsk for an open exchange with embassy officials, focused on strengthening diaspora engagement in Rwanda’s development journey while addressing issues affecting the community.
Strengthening Diaspora Engagement
Discussions centered on how Rwandans living in Gdańsk can stay connected to and contribute toward Rwanda’s development agenda, alongside a candid conversation about the day-to-day concerns and needs of the community in the city.

Addressing Community Concerns
Beyond the development conversation, the meeting gave attendees a direct channel to raise issues affecting Rwandans living in Gdańsk, reinforcing the embassy’s commitment to staying close to the diaspora wherever they are based in Poland.

Continuing the Outreach Across Poland
The Gdańsk visit is the latest stop in the embassy’s Community Outreach Programme, which has already brought embassy officials to Rwandan communities in cities across Poland. The embassy thanked everyone who took part and reaffirmed its commitment to keeping the diaspora informed, engaged, and connected to Rwanda’s development journey.
