Embassy of Rwanda in Poland Meets the Rwandan Community in Kraków

As part of its ongoing Community Outreach Programme, the Embassy of Rwanda in Poland travelled to Kraków for a day of engagement, dialogue, and consular services dedicated to members of the Rwandan diaspora in the city.

The visit brought together Rwandans living in Kraków for direct conversation with embassy officials, combining practical consular support with an open community dialogue — part of a broader effort to stay connected with Rwandans across Poland, wherever they are based.

Consular Services, Brought to the Community

Rather than requiring community members to travel for routine consular matters, the embassy brought its services directly to Kraków, making it easier for Rwandans in the city to access the support they need closer to home.

A Conversation on Diaspora and Development

Discussions on the day centered on the diaspora’s contribution to Rwanda’s development agenda, alongside an open conversation about concerns affecting the community in Poland. The format included a panel discussion, giving community representatives the chance to speak directly with embassy leadership and each other.

A Growing Diaspora Community

The turnout in Kraków reflected the size and engagement of the Rwandan diaspora community there, with attendees filling the venue for both the consular services and the discussion sessions.
